                            RESOLUTION NO.   20478 
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO REQUEST A
                 FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLAR ($50,000.00) GRANT FROM
                 THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR
                 THE INSTALLATION OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE
                 INTERSECTION OF STATE ROUTE 58 (AMNICOLA
                 HIGHWAY) AND SOUTH CREEK ROAD.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to request a $50,000.00 safety grant from the Tennessee 
Department
       of Transportation for the installation of a traffic signal at the 

       intersection of State Route 58 (Amnicola Highway) and South Creek 

       Road.
